Puppy Training Classes
Puppy Preschool Class
$255*. This six week puppy preschool class is designed to help puppies build confidence, social skills, and important life skills during critical developmental periods. Each class features a stand-alone topic including desensitization and counterconditioning to sights, sounds, and textures, cooperative care for veterinary visits and grooming, relaxation exercises, leash skills and basic obedience, puppy tips and tricks, and more. Every class also includes supervised puppy playtime with guidance on appropriate vs. inappropriate play styles, body language, and what to look for during puppy interactions. Perfect for helping puppies learn how to safely and successfully navigate the modern world while building positive associations and coping skills along the way. Tuition includes two FREE Puppy Play Groups held Saturdays at 4pm. This class is appropriate for puppies 8 weeks to 16 weeks at enrollment; must graduate before 6 months. Puppy Obedience Class
$215*. This five week puppy training class focuses on the foundations every puppy and guardian needs to have a great start together. We cover basic manners and include preparation for, and administration of, the AKC STAR Puppy Test. Appropriate for puppies 4 months to 1 year old. Pre-register and complete our Modern Dog 101 orientation course on Thinkific before class begins. Class runs for five consecutive weeks.

This class includes preparation for, and administration of, the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test. STAR stands for Socialization, Training, Activity and a Responsible owner. We will cover training foundations and teach skills like sit and down, as well as prepare your pup for real-life scenarios like trips to the vet or groomer. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy prepares pups to move on to Canine Good Citizen training. This AKC program aims to set up both dogs and their owners for a successful training journey.

Puppy Play Group
$45 (3 pack). This 30 minute Puppy Play Group is designed for pro-social puppies under 6 months old. Your first play Group will be an evaluation for $15, following sessions must be purchased in packages of 3. This play group does not include behavior modification for fearful, aggressive or reactive pups. All forms of behavior modification MUST be addressed in Private Lessons with our Family Dog Mediation Package. Pre-Registration REQUIRED; Saturdays at 4pm.
Adult Dog Training Classes
Walk This Way Class
$215*. This five week dog training class covers the fundamentals of helping your adolescent or adult pup navigate their environment appropriately on leash. This semi-private class will give you the tools and knowledge to navigate adventures while out and about with your pup. This class is aimed to maximize fun while minimizing frustration for both dog and human so you can enjoy time outside with your furry friend. Reactive Rover Class
$255*. This five week dog training class is designed for pups that bark, lunge, pull or simply get too excited around other dogs, people or other stimuli. If you have a non-aggressive reactive dog this class is for you! This class will empower guardians with strategies to effectively meet their reactive pup’s needs and become the best partner for their pup. Pre-register and complete our Modern Dog 101 orientation course on Thinkific before class begins. Class runs for five consecutive weeks; first class is HUMANS ONLY, no pups please!

In this class guardian will learn how to:
Understand reactivity- explore the science of reactivity and learn the truth about your pup’s reactive behaviors

Therapy Dog Class
$255*. This five week dog training class focuses on preparing dogs and handlers for the Therapy Dogs International (TDI) Therapy Dog Test through guided practice and real-world skill building. This is a practice class designed for dogs who already have the foundation skills needed to pass the CGC or can demonstrate equivalent skills. Each class will focus on various portions of the therapy dog test outline, including polite greetings, handling exercises, distractions, and public access style skills, with a mock test included during the session. Appropriate for dogs over 1 year old. Class runs for five consecutive weeks.

You'll learn about our science-based training methods, how dogs learn, equipment recommendations, how to prevent and address common unwanted behaviors like nipping, jumping and barking, and more!
